Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced support for the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT), Mumbai to establish AVGC content-creator labs in 15,000 secondary schools and 500 colleges nationwide to build industry-relevant skills early. With the AVGC sector projected to need nearly 2 million professionals by 2030, this initiative aims to nurture talent, strengthen creative education infrastructure, and help India compete globally in digital content, creativity-led industries, and cultural exports.
